The brand Nerocarbonio was created in the internationally-renowned design centre based in Padua, Veneto, Industria del Design, a company whose activities range from the engineering of special projects and new applied technologies to the design and artistic direction of important creations in the world of architecture and interior design.
The combination of the creativity and aesthetic culture of Industria Del Design and its technical expertise in processing carbon has allowed the company to explore new markets.
Over the years Industria del Design has demonstrated great versatility in the realization of international projects. The centre, in fact, produces unique new objects made of carbon fibre which combine highly creative contents and well-established skills in processing the material. The products are characterized by innovative and elegant shapes revealing a remarkable contrast between technological aspects and the craftsmanship typical of products made in carbon, a material that is both treated and processed strictly by hand.
Nerocarbonio expresses an innovative approach to the use of carbon, an approach that is no longer limited to the technical aspect and performance of the product but includes a new aesthetic and emotional value. This extremely modern and versatile material is today used in the manufacture of everyday objects such as furnishings, footwear, travel accessories and other objects with a completely innovative design, in which the purity of the forms blends with the essentiality of the shades of carbon. Among the first products of the brand Nerocarbonio are: the lamp Canneto, a 100% carbon city bike, and the super sports bike DB7 Nerocarbonio, produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces by Bimota, a famous motorcycle brand. The project also includes the Ri-balta seat, a cube that turns into chair, Director, a folding director’s chair, Plane Water, and Twin, a complete bathroom suite, extremely lightweight and with an essential design. In addition to these, another item worthy of note is a special revisitation in carbon of a cult object par excellence: the 1963 Vespa VNB4, class 125.
In the constant search for new inspiration and new design logic, Industria Del Design has found excellence in the industrialisation of this material which, through design, can lead to the creation of thrilling new objects for everyday use.
In January 2014 Nerocarbonio was acquired by Cose Belle d’Italia, which assigned the artistic direction to the company Alberto Del Biondi. The fusion of fashion, design and the culture of beauty is central to the philosophy of the brand’s growth.
